Hurling through the length of the tunnel
The warped reality of my mind
Nothing stops this freefall through time
As the old pains revisited grasp and grind.

These jumps from one sad day to another
Leave the grey cells worse for wear
Distorted images confound and befuddle
Windows shut and ready to tear.

Flashes of 'significant' memories, eh?
What right have you to compare?
You who embraces normalcy over truth
You who have inflicted many a nightmare...

Another stone's throw away from the shore
Those voices shut out by force stall the uproar
Every sound is like shattering glass
That grows stronger with every encore.

As consciousness separates and splinches
Caught between memories that conflict drew
Repair? Take a look at yourself first!
The mind out of synch and no longer true.
