Leaves said they’d sing out yesterday
But they’re shrivelling up and blowing away
Winds that promised to keep hands warm
Have now turned cold and are part of a storm,
Scattered twigs too have fallen prey
To the earth’s cool chill and darkened dismay
While the stars align themselves securely each night
Nestled in the safety of their distant light.
Broken backs calmly face the interlude
Between successive bolts of lightning crude
Cracked fragments of glass serenade
A once-loved window and silently fade,
When rage speaks louder than wisdom’s word
Night descends faster than a rifled bird
Morning brings with it only tidings of gloom
As the flower plucked in haste refuses to bloom.
End: 10:35 p.m.

An artist and a poet. Brilliant. :) I love your template. Or have I already told you that?
Nothingman: Hey, it's the mood, I suppose. Hehe. Thanks for the good wishes! :) I'm just the opposite now. :P
Princess Stefania: Why thank you, Princess! :) Mine's just a slightly modified version of one of the older Blogger templates, but. Hehe. I've got some ideas for tweaking it though. :P
