Test of Spirit

Date: 02.04.2008
Time: 4:55 p.m.

An iron rod is firm and respected
And discarded when it is broken or rusted
Its uncompromised strength tested repeatedly
By beating it against old wood.
The rod is loved while it smashes successfully
And loathed when it crumbles to dust most hideously
Rust having robbed it of its power
Its core weakened and unjustly devoured.
The test of its spirit remains constant
Tempered heating with hot flames so rampant
The weaker of these bends, to be carefully replaced
While the strong one shows no pain till it breaks.

End: 5:05 p.m.

Nice! You speak of things we normal humans tend not to. Well, you were never normal. Guess it helps getting zapped by aliens [:P] loved it..
